The Malika is built around a hand-cut leather frame that wraps the body of the basket — a quiet architecture that holds its shape from the first carry to the hundredth. Beneath it, natural palm leaf is handwoven in a tight herringbone by artisans in Marrakech, each basket taking shape over hours of work by a single pair of hands.

Dual leather top handles are stitched, not glued, and burnished by hand at the edges. No hardware, no branding — just material and craft.

Because each piece is woven by hand, subtle variations in tone and weave are part of its character. No two are alike.

Each MARRAVIE piece is made to order — woven and finished by hand in Morocco, especially for you. Your piece is crafted within approximately 6–7 business days, then sent by tracked international carrier and typically delivered within 7–10 business days of dispatch — most orders arrive within 13–17 business days of purchase. Tracking details are shared the moment your order leaves our atelier.

Shipping is complimentary worldwide. Within the United States, all taxes and duties are included — the price you see is the price you pay, with nothing to settle on delivery. For orders outside the United States, shipping remains complimentary; any import taxes or duties charged by your local customs are the responsibility of the recipient.

Because each piece is made to order especially for you, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. We stand fully behind our craftsmanship: if your piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, write to us within 3 days of delivery at hello@marravie.com and we will replace it or refund you in full — including any return shipping. Gentle variations in shape, color, and finish are natural in handmade work — the signature of true artisanal work, never a flaw.
