Every MARRAVIE piece is made by hand

The Atelier

In Marrakech, behind a quiet door, our pieces take shape in the hands of women and men who carry generations of craft. Some work from our atelier; many work from home, weaving between the rhythms of their own days. This is how craft has always lived in Morocco — not on a factory floor, but in skilled hands, at a human pace. We build our work around that, never against it

The techniques are old and unhurried. Doum palm and raffia are softened, split, and woven strand by strand. Cane is bent and bound into form. Leather is cut by hand and stitched without shortcuts. No two pieces are exactly alike, because none was made by a machine — the small variations are the signature of something real.

The women who make our pieces are artisans, not labor. They are paid properly, work on their own terms, and are named in the story of what they make. Their craft is the brand; everything else is in service of it.
Because each piece is made to order, it carries the full attention of its making — and reaches you as one of a kind, the way it was always meant to.
