Double-woven from raffia in a dense, structured coil, the basket is unlined and finished with full-grain calfskin shoulder straps. Each piece is the work of a single weaver in Marrakech — subtle variations in the weave are the signature of the hand that made it.

Your piece is crafted within approximately 6–7 business days, then sent by tracked international carrier and typically delivered within 7–10 business days of dispatch — most orders arrive within 13–17 business days of purchase. Shipping is complimentary worldwide. Within the United States, all taxes and duties are included — the price you see is the price you pay, with nothing to settle on delivery. For orders outside the United States, shipping remains complimentary; any import taxes or duties charged by your local customs are the responsibility of the recipient.

Because each piece is made to order especially for you, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. We stand fully behind our craftsmanship: if your piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, write to us within 3 days of delivery at hello@marravie.com and we will replace it or refund you in full — including any return shipping. Gentle variations in shape, color, and finish are natural in handmade work — the signature of true artisanal work, never a flaw.
