Hand-woven in Marrakech from natural reed and ebony-dyed palm, the Ghita gathers the patience of the loom into a single, considered shape. Vegetable-tanned leather straps are cut and stitched by hand, deepening in tone and character with every season carried.

Generous at thirty-two centimetres across, it moves easily from the morning's work to the market to the long afternoons of summer — a basket made to be lived with, and to be kept.

Made to order. Each piece is shaped by hand, and the gentle variation in weave and line is the quiet signature of the atelier.

Shipping is complimentary worldwide. Within the United States, all taxes and duties are included — the price you see is the price you pay, with nothing to settle on delivery. For orders outside the United States, shipping remains complimentary; any import taxes or duties charged by your local customs are the responsibility of the recipient.

Because each piece is made to order especially for you, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind. We stand fully behind our craftsmanship: if your piece arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, write to us within 3 days of delivery at hello@marravie.com and we will replace it or refund you in full — including any return shipping. Gentle variations in shape, color, and finish are natural in handmade work — the signature of true artisanal work, never a flaw.
